Enjoy a safari adventure everglades tour. The Everglades National
Park is a treasure chest of wildlife with many unique species to the area. Among the most common birds you may see while on safari are the Horned Grebe, the Great Blue Heron and the Double-crested Cormorant. With some forty species of mammals there's plenty to see. Don't worry you won't have to find them all since there's a one-hour animal show included with the everglades tours. Of course there are also plenty of alligators and a plethora of wildlife. The everglades tour also includes a one hour airboat ride over the "river of grass."
Everglades National Park is home to over 1,000 species of plants. However, over 20% of the plants here are non-native. Researchers in the Park are working to remove those that cause the most problems.

A pair of endangered wood storks needs about 440 pounds of fish during a breeding season to feed themselves and their young. Everglades National
Park serves as an important nursery ground for raising of their chicks.
The Everglades Ecosystem provides a home to over 350 documented
